Meet the founder

Homara Choudhary is a presenter, broadcast journalist, multilingual moderator, executive producer, media consultant and the CEO and Founder of Homara Media LLC.

She was in Azerbaijan recently to host the first season of the podcast 'Sustainability Now: A COP29 Special', featuring guests from the UNFCCC, national governments, NGOs, scientists, academics as well as business leaders and partners. Discussions followed the key objectives of the conference, notably: climate finance, adaptation and resilience and global climate action. Her passion for climate change solutions also saw her lead the media coverage for the Green Hydrogen Summit in Oman.

Based in the Middle East, Homara has more than 20 years of experience in multi-platform journalism and her background includes international television news, documentaries, radio, digital and magazine publishing.

As an Executive Producer with Qatar Foundation, she successfully delivered the first global Doha International Family Institute (DIFI) Summit. She also produced and voiced the explainer films covering the four main megatrends of the conference. Homara moderated sessions at the summit including; Seen and Unseen: The Impact of Tech on Children. She also moderated multiple panels at the international World Innovation Summit for Health (WISH) in partnership with the World Health Organization (WHO).

Homara works with high-profile international clients, such as COP29, Al Jazeera, Doha Debates, HEC Paris and Web Summit Qatar, to present, produce, report and moderate engaging and informative content across all platforms.

She also launched some new shows on Al Jazeera's award-winning digital platform. She collaborated on History Illustrated, Centre Stage, On The Record and Birds Eye View to name but a few.She has covered major global events, such as the Taliban takeover in Afghanistan, the Israel-Palestine conflict, and the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. She has also conducted exclusive high-level interviews with prominent figures, such as Qatar's Ambassador to the UK, the UK's Ambassador to Qatar, the Ukrainian Ambassador to Qatar, and the Head of the US Fifth Fleet.
